Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

We miss you every day. We love you so much Ash.

Time is a Tickin'

So our sweet little Marshall is 5 months now and he is HUGE!
He is weighing in at a whopping 21 lbs, and is a big bundle of cuteness. We finally settled on his formula after a couple of scares that put him in the hospital and having multiple tests run. He has a SEVERE milk allergy and can only take Neocate formula which is a prescription formula. Poor guy was bleeding from all of the other formulas and breast milk :( But we are just grateful to God for providing us with answers and a means to give him what he needs.
He is not eating solids yet as the few that we have tried have given adverse reactions so we are waiting on allergy testing in about a month.
Here are his 3, 4, and 5 month pics!

Jenson is a very active two and a half year old. He is in the full blown terrible twos right now. He hates going potty at home, but will do anything for his MDO teachers!
He is loving, and compassionate, but would like for Marshall to go "bye-bye," most of the time. He loves the outdoors and getting dirty. He also loves rough play with Daddy, football, and catching critters!!!

This is as close as he gets on his own

Mommy and Daddy had an adult night at Daddy's Christmas party. It was so fun to get dressed up and have a great dinner with wonderful friends, The Moores.
Thanks to Gigi for babysitting the boys!!!

We just got home from church where we played the Holy Family tonight. Marshall was Jesus and he was so cute. I'll blog about that as soon as I choose pics to post but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these!

God Bless!

Happy Halloween

We got around at least one block!
Jenson left his costume on!
 Marshall fell asleep.
Jenson ate too much candy and screamed during his sleep :(
Happy Halloween!!!

So Much Has Happened

Since my last post we have added to our Family. Marshall Ryan Hennig was born on June 28, 2012. We weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long!!! After a brief stay in the NICU for fluid in his lungs, he is doing great and is now weighing in at 12 lbs 4 oz!!! He is such a sweet boy, and very easy going compared to his big brother!

This little Angel is already changing so much!

Jenson is adjusting to his life as a big brother. Some days are easier than others, but he started Mothers Day Out today so hopefully that will help! Thank you Mimi for the cute nap mat and labeling!!!
Posing with his stuff, and Daddy's backpack too!!

He was excited to see that the girls had
made him a Good Luck sign and card!

What's that Mommy

Walking in with Daddy

Seemed a little concerned

Have a Great Day J-man! We love you!
So with a heavy heart I handed him over to the loving ladies at church and walked away. I cannot believe how fast these little creatures grow up. I feel like I brought him home yesterday and today he is at preschool. I'd better hold tight to Marshall, or think about having another one :)

Has It Really Been That Long?

Wow, my last post was in April. That is difficult to believe. Since then ALOT has changed. We have a new family member. Marshall Ryan Hennig was born on June 28, on Pops' birthday!!!

He is just wonderful. He had to stay in the NICU for about 5 days due to fluid in his lungs. He was eager to come out and join us so he came out quickly. It's hard to believe how much he has grown from this frail little guy to an eating machine!!
First Night in NICU

Jenson was talking to Marshall!

First time we got to hold him after they took him.

Going home!!!

Meeting the new one
We are so thankful for his health now, even though seeing our baby sick like that is the hardest hing I've we've ever done. I will post more later. This is all my schedule will allow for now!

God Bless!
