I don't know
Today is one of those days that I don't know how moms go to work.
I mean I understand there are circumstances but your babies want mommy when they don't feel good. I still want my mommy when I don't feel good, like today.
I would hate to drop them somewhere every day and only get to see them a few hours a night. Thankful to God for providing this life. Thankful for every tiring, vomit covered, snotty, step of it.

I need to start blogging again
So much has happened and changed in the past months. We just got home from Alaska and are still recovering!
Baby number 3 is due in March and she is growing like a weed.
The boys are all over the place and into everything!
I am still running my ministry of preteens on Wednesday nights and I love the start we have had and the number of kids!!
Jake is busy at work and diligently focusing on his project.
All and all life is good, busy and tiring but good!

Keeping Him Happy
The little dictator requested a race track on his train table. So like any good mother, I flipped the table top over and got out the sharpie's. I tried to make it look like TWS, our home track, but this is MWS Mommy World Speedway!!

It's Not Easy Being Three
Poor Jenson had a visit to the ER tonight after a nasty spill lead to a big gash in his head.
He was a trooper through the X-rays (special pictures) and tried so hard to be tough through his 4 staples!!!
But luckily the ER is right next to a Bucees and Daddy got us an Icee!!!
Prayers for healing are much appreciated.

Dear God, I want to stop time please!
I find myself with the urge to write after returning from my first Church Leader Retreat with a revamped spirit for my ministry work and my family. The Lord has chosen me and I feel so unworthy of his choice to lead within the church and be a wife and mother, it is such an honor. I had a wonderful time away, getting to know some of my "Servant Sisters," as I am now calling them. We shared stories of our lives and things that struck cords in all of us, but one of the women shared with me the story of losing her youngest son in an accident. Being that my Jenson is turning 3 tomorrow I couldn't help but wonder "what if..."
I have been having so many days here lately where I want to scream at the top of my lungs, or run away from the "Little Dictator" that rules our household. No punishment, no consequence, nothing works for my strong willed child. I went into the weekend excited to get away for a bit but when I started wondering the "what if," after her story I found myself wanting to touch and hold my babies.
I cannot imagine what my life would be like without them. I can't sympathize with her, but I look up to her so much spiritually and motherly for how strong she is. I immediately thought about all of the times that I complain about my "Terrible Toddler" and realized that his time here with me is not a guarantee. His time, all of our times are on God's calendar. So while my little terrorist is here with me I have no time to be complaining about how he is acting, or that he refuses to potty train, or he won't give up the pacifier at night. I just want time to stop! Don't let tomorrow come and keep me here with my children while they are so innocent.
I thank that friend for sharing with me because it really helped to bring me back down to earth when I needed it and she didn't even know that.
So all of that being said...my Jenson turns 3 tomorrow, and as I wipe tears away I can only assume I can't stop time. My babies are going to grow and life is going to happen. We have to live in the now, the every day, the every moment. Jake, Jenson, and Marshall are my life, and I have to enjoy my life!
Jenson Davis Hennig, where did the time go? When did you become such a big boy? Where is my baby that I brought home? I guess I will always feel this way about you and your brother. I will love you forever.
Happy Birthday baby boy! Happy Birthday.

Catching up again!
Here we go again playing catch up with pictures. Life with 2 little ones is a bit time consuming. Here is the breakdown of what's been happening with the Hennig's.
November- We weren't able to attend any Thanksgiving activities as we all had the flu! That was super fun.
December- We played the Holy Family in our church's living Nativity. Marshall made his acting debut as baby Jesus! We also celebrated Our Saviour's birth with family and friends and Marshall had his first Christmas. Jenson was super excited about Santa this year which made things alot more fun.
January- Kiddos still growing! Daddy working hard after his much deserved promotion! Go Daddy! And me continuing on with my Children's Ministry work!
February- I turned the dreaded "30," but had an amazing day thanks to my husband!
March- (Now)
I have started spending alot of time with my new friend from church and helping her with her passion for photography. It's really fun!
Marshall has 4 teeth, eats everything in sight, and weighs about as much as his brother :(
He is trying so hard to crawl and loves to smile and laugh.
Jenson will turn 3 next month and my heart doesn't think it's ready for that. He is ready and aware that he has a birthday party coming, and has chosen a pirate theme! Arghh matey's!!! He loves his brother but could do without him most days. He also has an amazing attitude, I mean some days I wonder if I am raising a terrorist and then realize it's just Jenson. The Lord knows I love him but The Lord better help him make it to 3!
It is so fun to watch the relationship between these two brothers grow and change on a daily basis. Now that Marshie can interact more Jenson thinks is fun to make him laugh, unless Marshie is crying.
Jake and I have discovered that life as we once knew it is over and that our life now exists for these babies and the Lord. Everything is harder with more kids in the picture. But it's worth it, right?
I know if he brings us to it, he'll bring us through it and I keep praying that.
I need to stop and reflect more often on my life and my kids and my marriage. As a stay at home mommy it's easy to get down and forget why you are doing what you are doing. Maybe I can just put it into this blog as a sense of therapy! Free of charge!
Enjoy the pics!
That gets us caught up through December except for La Grange Christmas pics which I think I let Aunt Cici do all of the photog stuff and I forgot my camera. I'll have to check with her. Oh, Cici.........
Ok, that's enough for now.
